CAJON PASS, Calif. (CAJONCRAWL.com) — The Wednesday morning commute down the Cajon Pass is slow-moving due to low-visibility caused by lingering fog.
Motorists Dion Ayala shared photos from his drive down the pass at about 7:30 am on January 22, 2020. Dion advised the visibility is low and to expect traffic delays to add an extra 15-25 minutes to the commute.
The information signs along the 15 freeway advising of ‘Low Visibility Ahead’ are activated.
As of 7:45 am there were no accidents to report on either side of the freeway through the Cajon Pass.
Tips for driving in fog:
Drive slow, turn on your windshield wipers, and use your low-beam headlights. The light from the high-beam headlights will reflect back and cause glare. Never drive with just your parking or fog lights.
